Add inventory cost tracking
It would be helpful to add a field for item value next to the container contents. This would make insurance claims much faster.

Yes, having to track the total value of a box in a separate spreadsheet is annoying.

Agree. A simple currency field per item would be enough.
Great ideas. Fortunately, we've got you covered! Every item will have a currency field you can edit at any time. Boxes (and all other types of containers) will have a running total. And, of course reports will include a detailed breakdown of container and item totals, perfect for insurance documentation and claims. Thanks for the suggestions!
